After practising law for many years, Alan is now engaged in teaching, consulting and research.
From 2012 to 2023, Alan taught International Business Legal Risk Management for the Athabasca University Executive MBA program.
He has taught law courses for Vancouver Community College Paralegal Program from 2012 to present, law for business courses for the BBA program at Vancouver Island University from Jan. to April 2024 which included Canadian Legal Process, Constitutional Law (Charter issues), Torts, Corporate Law, Contracts, Real Estate Leasing, Alternative Dispute Resolution and Employment Law. He has also taught law for the Executive Master’s Degree Program for Business and International law at the Royal University of Law and Economics from 2018 to 2023.
