Dr. Evan Hoffman is a Professor in the Faculty of Management at Vancouver Island University and a highly experienced negotiation expert with over two decades of specialized knowledge in conflict resolution, mediation, and peacebuilding.
He has provided consulting services to various international and national organizations, including Global Affairs Canada (GAC), the Carter Center, the UN, the EU, and the Vietnamese Ministry of Justice.
In the realm of negotiations, Dr. Hoffman has served as a Chief Negotiator, most notably leading the Contract Academic Staff Bargaining Unit (CASBU) collective negotiations from 2020 to 2023. His deep understanding of negotiation dynamics is also reflected in his numerous workshops and training sessions delivered to community leaders, government officials, police forces, and academic institutions across the globe. His expertise in negotiation and conflict resolution has made him a sought-after speaker and facilitator in these areas.
